Fresh Legs

There's a term in hockey called "Fresh legs." It means you want to put a player on the ice who has had some time to rest and refresh. I always thought this was a peculiar term, because this is what comes to mind when I hear it:

Y'know, like fresh lemonade? But as my Pittsburgh Penguins are facing double overtime, it would be nice if it were this easy to find fresh legs. My boys have to be exhausted. But if they can pull out a win, we'll be up 3-0 in this series! Wish us luck. And fresh legs.
